How to avoid joining the rank of terrible websites?
Normally obsolete design also translates in poor usability, but not always. A typical example is Zara.com. While the homepage looks nice and modern, it’s near impossible to tell what they sell.
There is a lot to consider when designing a website, but here is the list of key elements to always keep in mind:
1. Right Here, Right Now: make your website usable, understandable and easy to navigate. Avoid confusion and be concise.
2. Beautiful but also Useful: a website must be informative, but with style. Boring stocking images are a no-go.
3. Today Matters: update your page as frequently as you can with fresh information but also design. Ignoring modern trends can turn any site into a bad website.
